If the Leafs are legit shopping for a top 6 winger, can we please look into Tyler Bertuzzi?? Maybe its because I don’t watch any ANA games but Ricard Raekel is a distant 2nd for me. |

I love game days, regardless of how good we are or who we’re playing.

Do I put Hyman in the HB pool this week even though he’s been moved off the Matthews line? ( anyone can answer ) |

Rakell seems like a perfect fit.
Not sure if they would ship out Kerfoot in the trade but they might.
Can always find a rental 3C. |

Would love Bertuzzi but I doubt he would be available? Rackell would also be great but he still has 1-year left at 3.8M left so I'm not sure if Dubas would want to take that on.
I still think Bennett would be a pretty good fit if only because he's versatile, plays with grit, and can push Vesey onto the taxi squad.
Can we clone Simmonds? |

Im having trouble finding Nylanders playoff stats, can you please help. Oh wait I found them. Miller had more playoff points in last years playoffs alone than Nylander has had in his career.
You keep doing you bro!
- Bakwas
I'll tell you.
Miller .56
Nylander .6
Miller without last years fluke. .42

its obvious that people see a fit to upgrade the top 6 spot.
leafs have plenty of depth, sure....but nothing for that top 6 LW spot. |

Doubt the Leafs make any significant moves until the TDL. There is no reason to unless there is a significant injury.

DET should look at trading everyone over 25...they are 3-4 years away from even sniffing playoffs, let alone being a contender.
And Ducks could retain some cap. |

The thing about the deadline this year is that, if you trade for a player outside the division, that 14 days quarantine makes him available for the beginning of the playoffs.
So no time to get used to his new team until the "real" games begin.
I feel like if the Leafs, or any other team in Canada, want to add players for a playoffs push. Trades will happen a little sooner than the deadline.

Agreed.
But also with a month left in the season most cap hits will be 7/8ths of what they are. I think it will be a buyers market this year. The draft is also a bit of a poop show in later rounds this year...the lottery tickets will be nice for the rebuilders but I don't see top teams trying to hold onto them. |
